Privacy policy

Your tracking data stays on device first. When system iCloud is enabled, it syncs through your own private iCloud database.

Core principle: DuePair has no developer-operated backend for user tracking data. Tracking items, drafts, images and reminders stay on device. When system iCloud is enabled, they sync through your own private iCloud database, which DuePair cannot access.

1. The DuePair app

  • Local data: item names, sellers, platforms, amounts, dates, photos, notes, links, order or tracking numbers, drafts, reminders and app preferences are stored on your device.
  • On-device text recognition: recognition results are suggestions that you review first. After you enable screenshot suggestions and grant Photos access, the app checks only up to 8 screenshots from the previous 72 hours on device when it launches or returns to the foreground; it does not scan ordinary photos. Images and recognized text are not uploaded to a developer-operated server.
  • No account: no sign-up, no login, no phone number or email required.
  • No third-party analytics or ads: the app has no advertising or behavioral-analytics SDKs. If anonymous crash reporting is added to fix bugs, we'll update this page first and aim to make it optional.
  • Private iCloud sync (optional): when system iCloud is enabled, data syncs between your devices through your own Apple ID and private iCloud database. This is not a DuePair-operated cloud service.
  • Reminders: balance reminders are scheduled locally on your device, not through our servers.

2. This website (duepair.com)

  • No email collected: there is no email signup form; we don't ask for your email or personal details.
  • Access logs: our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (e.g. IP, browser type, time) for security and basic stats.
  • No tracking cookies, ads, or third-party behavioral analytics. The public product website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate traffic and page-performance measurement. It does not use cookies, and Cloudflare states that it does not collect or use visitors' personal data.

3. Children's privacy

DuePair is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.

4. Your data, your control

You can delete individual records and associated images in the app. DuePair also provides an in-app path to remove local and iCloud-synced data. Uninstalling removes local app data, but iCloud-synced data should be removed through the in-app deletion flow.

5. Changes

If DuePair's privacy practices change, this page will be updated together with the "last updated" date above.
